Student Passes

Students visiting the LMC must have their school ID and a pass from their teacher. Students should present their pass at the front circulation desk when entering the library and sign in. When ready to return to class, don’t forget to sign out at the front desk. Signing in verifies the student’s library visit should an attendance question arise, or the student needs to be located for some reason.

Library Book Check Out

Books may be checked out for two weeks, with the option to renew for an additional two weeks.  Students will receive overdue book reminders via email and in their assigned reading class.

Textbook Check Out

Textbooks are checked out through the library circulation system.  IMPORTANT:  All textbooks must be returned to the library at the end of the course or students will be charged for the cost of the textbook.

Student Expectations

The library is a place where students may go for quiet study, computer work, collaboration, or to conduct research. Maintaining a welcoming, supportive, purposeful and productive academic environment is our goal.  All district and school policies are enforced, including behavior expectations and the computer user agreement signed by all students. No food or drink is permitted in the library.

A print station is located in the media center for students utilizing the computers to print course related documents.
